Maximize your Viggle potential...
Just check into the shows mentioned in first table for earning maximum points while live airing of the shows.
Check your local play time for Ellen DeGeneres Show to check into the right time and channel. A lot of places have 3 pm check in time for this show on CBS or NBC channels.
Viggle Tips: Record and check into a few of the below mentioned shows later (before 8 am next morning) for earning more bonus points each show. Don't forget to play Viggle Live for the below mentioned shows during their live airing...
I haven't been able to check into any dvr'd shows. I am just wondering if anyone else is having this problem???

ReplyDeletethis sucks...primetime shows aren't over til 11 usually...am i just supposed to stay up all night to check into the dvr'd shows? viggle really screwed things up here
ReplyDeleteThey made it difficult to earn max points but that seems to be so that they can identify what show we are watching for most of the time. It will still be the one with biggest multiplier so it won't be an unbiased check in. Let's hope they come up with more streaks and quests to cover up for those.

DeleteI agree. I do not want to spending all hours of the morning (before 8am) to get points. This app has certainly declined over the past 2 years.
DeleteAre they ever going to bring back the gift cards. It's not worth doing if not.
ReplyDeleteYesterday they had Starbucks gift card at the rewards landing page. I think they will keep bringing gift cards with limited availability on rewards home page from time to time. As they can't cope up with huge demand for them, they might bring back gift cards with limited availability.

DeleteI don't think they accounted (enough) for the huge spike in points from the DirecTV bonuses this summer.

ReplyDeleteAnyone else still having check-in issues? Can't get it on manual or audio. It recognizes the show but then says it's having an issue connecting to the server and to try again. Nothing shows up in show history and I have no points. I'm using iPhone or iPad and neither will work. I already have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. Very frustrated here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteYes. I can't check into dvr shows. Viggle mentioned that thy are trying to fix this issue. They acknowledged that it is an issue and we are all facing it. Let's hope they can fix it soon.
DeleteHey Amit, please let me know when you find out if Viggle fixes the issue of later check in on DVR'ed shows. Otherwise Im not wasting my time recording shows. I just hope they fix these problems soon...cant believe they would release software that has so many problems.
DeleteWhat about Viggle Live - did anyone else have problems with Viggle Live last night? I tried to play for both Survivor and Modern Family. No matter what I answered, it said "0 points - you already got credit for that question." Which wasn't true. Modern Family, I got every answer correct and got ZERO points. :-(
ReplyDeleteSame here also Jamie, if you open Viggle Live during the 30-40 seconds its actually asking a question, it will tell you you already answered the question. Seems to be yet another bug in the system. Of which there are so many bugs...Way to go Viggle, glad to see you tested your software before releasing it.
DeleteI think this is actually they're way of forcing you to only play Viggle Live when the show is airing in your time zone. I was able to play Viggle Live with no problems while the show was showing, but if I tried to play a Viggle Live for a show that had ended, but was still showing in another time zone, I got the message that I'd already received points for the question. In the past, you could virtually play every Viggle Live until the final airing of the show in the Pacific Time Zone...
DeleteI was playing Viggle Live during the LIVE airing (in my time zone) for both shows. Maybe they think I live in a different time zone?
DeleteI checked into Law & Order on my DVR but didnt get x2 points. If ur having problems try closing the app and hard close it too. I dont know on Android but on iOS double tap home button and close it. if that doesnt work hard close the app and turn off the device for 10 sec then try it
ReplyDeleteBonus points are only awarded when audio verification is done. I have spent the last two days "TRYING" to AUDIO check into Ellen DeGeneres show with no success. This website is being like Obamacare Health care web site.
ReplyDeleteNo way to check into Ellen show again today! So much for the 3x points...I think the same programmers that did the obamacare site needed jobs and Viggle got them on the cheap, lol...Thanks thunder hawk, quite humorous!
DeleteI too got the 0point BOX! But didn't have trouble with Dave's shows except the Middle. However NO bonus points til after minutes and only for 2 shows- I do see a discrepancy in episode I should b checked into though. But I did get the bonus for one such show.
DeleteHow will the NFL Ticket and the Quest Challenges work? How long do you have to stay signed in to qualify for having watched the program. What about the 200 points for NFL? By signing in to all of them for at least 10 minutes, I was able to earn at least 2200 points per Sunday plus the minute points. I was unable to sign in to Modern Family last night after having made sure I had signed in to all the previous ones for the Quest challenge. What's going on and will they fix it? I'm with all of you, without the gift cards, this is not worth my time!

ReplyDeleteOne big problem: show times for my area are totally wrong. Last night I didn't get bonus credit for shows. Did get viggle live.
Quite frustrating.
I checked into show last night that I DVRed but I did not get the bonus points, I only got watch points, so am I suppose to get bonus points as long as I use audio and its before 8am?
ReplyDeleteYes. That's how Viggle has explained it and it should ideally work that way.

ReplyDeleteI have been getting that for a week. Granted, I only actually attempted to check in to a couple of shows in that time, but the total elapsed time is now a week and I'm still getting the error.

ReplyDeleteI've noticed with the Ellen show on my app it says it's on at 4pm in the main picture of it but when I click on the picture and it takes me to the next screen it says it's on at 3pm on a different channel. So when I try to check in its a hour after it says it's on. It doesn't come on until 4pm where I am so I can't try to check in at 3 like it says it's on. Also I noticed that with the Quest shows it says they are on a half hour earlier than they really are so we can't even manually check in and get credit for the quest. I think maybe their way of getting out of giving out 10,000 points.

ReplyDeleteStill wish I could play Viggle Live on multiple shows at the same time.
As a suggestion for your future check in schedule my preference would be to leave out the 1x logo, for those technically are just watch point only (no bonus).
ReplyDeleteJust taking lots of patience right now waiting for everything to smooth back over as it was when I started in late spring. ONLY major bummer is now you cannot get the bonus manually checking in (so now hoping youtube or hulu can be my DVR while in college)
I do not see how you get more points or in any way better. If this is the system on NFL Sunday, I will probably pull in 720 points (x2 bonus) from 1pm to 7pm. The old system would have given me over 2000 points (200 points per game for being a Directv customer and minutes per game). Seriously, it is impossible to get 6000 points a day. Even if I didn't sleep to get the recorded shows, that would waist my 12 hour limit for the day. This is truly a ridiculous system.
ReplyDeleteWow - I didn't even realize this but it's true. Even if every show was a 4x show for 12 hours in one day, a person could only earn 2,880 points. And I don't think there are ever another 3,120 points in videos in a day. Excellent point! This has become a ridiculous and impossible system!
DeleteReceived an email from Viggle saying that "they're working on all the issues round the clock". The email also stated that they were going to credit my account 2500 points.

Cant do an audio check in for the Returned yet again...Tried the manual so here is hoping I get the bonus points. It worked earlier on the ellen show manual check in...
ReplyDeleteAlso, You cant watch the viggle live for the answers then go back the next hour and answer them...It says you already answered the questions. Just a heads up everyone. Looks like the new version fixes a lot of the loop holes I had found in the past.
You can't do a manual check-in for the Returned because it's over an hour and not a sports show.
DeleteI thought so too but I did just that and typed in the returned and it pulled up. I also got the bonus points even with the manual check in. So got a fix for that at least. Awesome so far...

DeleteOnce you check into a show such as a football game that has bonus points then you leave the game check in another show then go back to the game you no longer get any more bonus points. Bummer.
