Today's Schedule delayed

Hi Vigglers,

As the Viggle app is acting weird after the update and not letting me log in on my apple & android phones as well as tablets, I will wait for the update to settle in and post the schedule by evening 7 pm.

If the app works fine, try to check into "The Ellen Degeneres Show" at 3 / 4 pm based on your local showing.

Keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that the new Viggle app will be better and comes with a lot of gift cards... ;)

  1. I can't get into the app at all. It keeps telling me that the app is not current and to try updating app, however, there are no updates available. Anyone else having this problem??

    1. Hi. I think we are all facing the same problem. As you can see in ViggleBoy's yesterdays post, Viggle had notified all of us that we might be facing some login issues while they are trying to update their system. Lets hope they can fix the issue soon.

  2. After I updated I kept getting "force close". Uninstalling and then reinstalling it works. Seems like the gift card category is gone.

  3. Seems that the new version of the app doesn't work with the old version app data (and doesn't remove the data in any way upon install). Clear data and cache in your app manager and it'll load just fine (then simply re-login). The real downer is the fact that "Gift cards" isn't even an option under rewards anymore. I'm not saying there aren't any under the gift cards option (like has been the case the last couple of weeks), I mean that there simply isn't a gift cards option anymore.

  4. I had to install the update this morning, and afterwards the app wouldn't open at all. I uninstalled and then reinstalled. It opens now. However, there are NO gift card options at all under the "rewards" section. Also, it appears that the +50 and +100 point bonuses for checking into certain shows is gone. Instead, certain shows now have 2x, 3x, or 4x bonus points for each minute you watch. I've been waiting since mid-September to get a Best Buy gift card. Might be time to abandon this app.

    1. i'm going to leave this viggle app and go for checkpoints, it might be a different app, but it's the same interval to getting a gift card.

  5. I can log in but thats as far as it goes. No check ins, points system is gone, now things say 2x, 3x, and 4x points, which I take to mean if its 2x then you get 120 points for a 60 minute show. So much for checking in to each show because the higher "x" will be what you want to be checked in to longest. It gives me an option to do manual check in but does not recognize anything I put in. Also I got a black screen and app closed after I updated, so I uninstalled and re-installed and can log in now.

  6. I have be successful with clearing cache and data and completely uninstalling the app. Then I reinstalled the app. It seems to be working just fine now. Just a little slow.

  7. I was able to login. 1. Bonus structure has change. Bonus is now a multiplier of min watched. 2. No gift card category in the Rewards section.

    There were other minor changes as well.

  8. Was able to update and log in. Not liking new bonus structure. Wondering how Viggleboy is going to work with this. 10 mins could only gain 20 to 40 bonus points. No gift card section. Don't understand why when other places like shopkick have no problems having them. Bad business with xmas coming.

  9. I found a major glitch in the new app. I got into the app without any problem. Here's the glitch part... I was looking at the "What's on" page and there's an ad for hundai for +75 points. Sweet! But that's not the glitch. The glitch is when you are done with the 15 second ad... it pops back up. I've watched the ad close to 90 times (6,750 points) hope I won't get banned since I did nothing wrong since Viggle didn't remove the ad after the first viewing. Get your points while you can.

    1. That happened to me a while ago when I was playing Viggle Live! Every time I'd answer a question (whether I got it right or wrong), it would give me a commercial for +100. Then, when I'd leave the V-Live to see if any commercials on the main check-in page were available and then logged back in to V-Live, it'd give me the commercials again! Very nice. Of course, it stopped counting my points after I'd reached the 6,000 for the day but still, it was nice to hit that!

  10. Since the points structure has changed will you still keep your blog up? Since you want to be checked into the highest "X" amount.

  11. I sent a tweet out and Viggle responded right away. Looks like for apple devices, delete the app then reinstall. For android, clear the app data and the app should work. Some folks have had to do this a couple times to get it to work, but I didn't. All seems okay now.

    2. If it's android, you go to settings -- Applications -- search for Viggle -- click on it, and inside you will find a button clear data.

  12. I was able to delete and reinstall the app and I do see my points on my IPhone. However, I'm getting an error every time I try to check in. Anyone else having this problem?

    1. I cannot get into Viggle at all. I keep getting 'ERROR. SORRY...Unknown error'. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, yet it keeps giving me the error. Any suggestions?

  20. I wasfinally able to log in but profile and of course points not showing. Deleted from iphone and now can't get it to download from Icloud or reinstall. massive solar flares yesterday morning is not helping as phones in area went down for several hours as well. Fingers crossed all will be well by Ellen today.

  21. When I checked into The Mindy Project last night, it also had a "Streak" badge. Check in the next 3 weeks (11/19, 11/26 and 12/3) for a bonus of 250 points (I think). Obviously this only works if you checked in Mindy last night.

  25. I kind of like it this way better. I don't have to keep flipping between channels. Who the heck would check into a x2 show instead of a x4? That doesn't make sense to me.

  26. so viggle rewards are now based on your fandom level??? and the 2x,3x ect. bonous points is also based on fandom level??? I wonder how you get followers to increase your fandom level bc i cant figure that out

  27. After several attempts to open the application, I finally uninstalled and reinstalled. I am able to get into the application without problem. I still can't check into any shows yet today. I really dislike the new format of the app. I have 368,287 points and there is nothing worth spending my points on since the gift cards and Kindles are gone. I have been saving up my points for a Kindle but it appears i won't be getting one... :( I am ready to just cash out my points on something and uninstall for good. DAH! how upsetting!! I loved Viggle before this new format.
    You showed me how to maximize my Viggle experience and i appreciate that! :)

  28. This new Viggle is very different. I check into Ellen DeGeneres and only to receive 58 pts. How does it work to get 3x pts? So far I'm at a dislike,this is the beginning of the end of Viggle.

  32. Okay, what I have found out so far is there is a fandom level that you get bonuses for increasing in levels. Fandom levels though are not required for checkin bonuses. The multiplier is times the number of minutes watched. So pick the biggest multiplier and stay tuned the whole show. Bonus points have 24 hours to be added to your account. Unlike the commercials that will be added instantly. Here is my line up for tonight. I participate in the quest. I am in central time zone. Stay tuned in the entire show! You can potentially earn more points answering the live questions but i did not include them, i only added watched points.
    7pm Restaurant: Impossible 4x = 240 points
    8pm Modern Family- Quest-2x- 120 points
    9pm Nashville-2x- 120 points
    Then I am going to watch the rest of the movie Walle movie to answer live
    questions

  35. Viggle quit working on my android 4 days ago. I have repeatedly emailed their support for help and have received no response. I came online to see if perhaps they have pulled the app for good and found this site. Can't believe I had to find a solution on my own. They should have sent out emails to all their subscribers letting us know about the problems and possible solutions. And after working for months to get enough points for a specific gift card I wanted to give my daughter for Christmas, I find they have no gift cards except for flowers. Ridiculous! Poor app and even poorer customer service.
